Jesus’ Good Friday Mix

Right, I’ll reel off all the stuff about me not being a DJ or producer, so remember to not expect high quality, even medium at some points. Just try and enjoy the *very good* selection of tracks in this mix. And remember, you can’t slate it, because Jesus wouldn’t like it.

No real reason for this mix, other than it’s what Jesus would’ve wanted from me. And much like the theory of Jesus and Christianity, my mix is also a little rough round the edges.

DJ Fresh ft. Dizzee Rascal – The Power

Although this is only a 2 minute preview, it already sounds like a massive future hit. Anything DJ Fresh has done, has be so far, so if you then get the king that is Dizzee on a track too, then it’s practically guaranteed.

It was premiered on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show as the ‘Hottest Record In The World’ last night, and it’s pretty easy to see why. It’s released on 3rd June, which seems ages away. So, sorry to disappoint. But you’ll be hearing it everywhere anyway, so there’s no need to worry.

Dizzee Rascal added to Wakestock headliners!

The third and final headliner at this years Wakestock Festival has been announced this morning – and from the title, you’ll be able to see that it’s Dizzee Rascal!

He joins, Ed Sheeran and Calvin Harris, for the North Wales festival, from the 6th-8th July!

Bex Tappin (Wakestock spokeswoman) said on Dizzee’s announcement, “We’re mega excited to welcome legendary rapper, songwriter and record producer Dizzee Rascal to Wakestock 2012,” adding, “Dizzee is a Wakestock favourite after paying us a visit back in 2009 where as well as proving to be a top man, he made the crowd go wild with a set that included smash hits Bonkers and Dance Wiv Me.”

On Sheeran, who’d performed there last year, she said Wakestock were “honoured” to have him back again this year!

And on Harris: “Calvin’s sets are something to behold and he’s sure to get the party going at Wakestock this summer.”

More acts to be announced soon!

Interesting, in that Glastonbury, Big Chill have both decided to stop for this year – due to the Olympics and everything that comes with that. So, it’s nice to see a festival getting fairly big acts to headline there!
