G.O.O.D Music (Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T) ft. 2 Chainz – Mercy

24 hours ago, a new Kanye track ‘Theraflu‘ droppe, which featured DJ Khaled.  We’d been told this G.O.O.D Music collab was coming, and even with ‘Theraflu’ we still greedily waited in anticipation for the arrival of ‘Mercy’ And, as promised, it’s surfaced. Oh boy. I don’t really need to say much about the track, just listen and you’ll see why I’m in love already. It’s in the build up track to the G.O.O.D Music compilation, which promises to be incredible.

Kanye West ft. Florence Welch & Lupe Fiasco – ‘Touch The Sky’ (Urban Noize Remix)

Little earlier I gave you all a new Kanye track to enjoy, now here’s another Kanye featuring track which is just, again, as usual, brilliant.

Urban Noize have remixed the ‘Touch The Sky’ classic, and introduced Florence & The Machine’s supreme track ‘Drumming Song’. It’s part of an upcoming Urban Noize project titled, ‘Mr West’, which I cannot wait for!

You can download it here too!

Theraflu was released earlier, and ‘Mercy’ will be released tomorrow – Kanye’s here!

Mayer Hawthorne – The Walk ft. Rizzle Kicks

I love this, and I’d be surprised if you didn’t too. Mayer Hawthorne and Rizzle Kicks seem to gel really well together on this track, ‘The Walk’. It’s the American artists upcoming single, which is available to buy now. The visually brilliant video was filmed in just 3 hours in Soho, and despite that short time, it comes across brilliantly – like every video with the UK duo in.

Wretch 32 – Fire In The Booth Freestyle

Wretch 32 is by far one of the greatest artists the UK has to offer. But it’s been a while since he took the music scene by storm, so has he managed to maintain that high standard we saw back them? Well, no. He’s improved. Last night, at around 2am, Wretch stepped into Charlie Sloth’s Radio 1, to feature in Sloth’s ‘Fire In The Booth’ freestyle series. Unbelievably talented, watch and admire – 2nd verse is exceptional:

Make sure you watch out for the upcoming mixtape ‘Wretchercise’, if you wanted any more encouragement, check this ‘Climax’ freestlye:

Flexplicit ft. Royce Da 5’9, Papoose & Professor Green – My Game

Filmed by SBTV’s Lance Penez, this international collaboration is one of the hardest tracks I’ve had the pleasure of hearing in 2012. Reading through the YouTube comments, you begin to get the impression that other people think this too. Obviously, there’s the ‘who’s got the best verse’ argument developing over there, and personally I don’t know, each of them have a game-topper verse. So, I’ll let you choose. All I know is, I’m properly glad Pro’s getting international attention now, this is his second feature along side Royce Da 5’9, after the hauntingly epic ‘Nightmares track from ‘At Your Inconvenience’, and any more collabs between the two would be greatly appreciated.

Not only is each verse exceptional, the visuals are fucking incredible. “We wanted to find a unique way to tell a gripping story without all the artists featuring in it. To inspire, challenge and entertain” is what’s quoted under the video, and well, it’s certainly done that. Give it a watch, and you wont be able to take your eyes and ears off it.

Delilah ft. Liam Bailey – Breathe

Premiered on Mistajam’s show on Radio 1xtra last night, this is a beautiful track, courtesy of Delilah along with Liam Bailey. Have a listen to this, and try not to get taken away by it! Such a soulful track which needs to be heard by all of you. Obviously, both featured on Chase & Status’ ‘No More Idols’ massive album, on two of the singles actually. Liam on ‘Blind Faith’, and Delilah on ‘Time’ – both two of the stand out tracks of one of the best albums of 2011. Both look set to have big 2012’s!

Gotye – Somebody That I Used To Know (Isaac Marshall Remix)

I’ve literally just heard this on Mistajam’s 1xtra show tonight, and I felt the need to share it around with you all. A take or leave original track for me. I mean, it’s good, but is it outstanding? Well, it’s the most successful track of 2012 so far, so fair play, I guess! Anyway, I’m in love with this remix, courtesy of the little know Isaac Marshall – which amazingly has only had 80 plays?! Jam said he might be Dutch, but well, I don’t know anything about him… yet. Anyways, enjoy it, and watch out for anymore new tracks from him!
